The Bills are going to continue to start Kyle Orton.

At 5-5 with consecutive losses to the Chiefs and Dolphins some had speculated that the Bills could go back to E.J. Manuel but coach Doug Marrone said that was not going to happen while speaking at Monday’s press conference.

“Right now I plan on sticking with Kyle, and I believe in every player, not just the quarterback player, who gives us the best chance to win,”Marrone said. “That’s the way we’re headed this week.”

While Orton has done little over the last two weeks the truth is the Bills are better off with him under center than former first round pick Manuel.

Asked about Manuel, Marone responded “He’s doing a nice job. He’s working… He’s doing everything we’re asking him to do.”

At 11-15 during his tenure as the Bills head coach, Marrone is coaching for his job as new ownership will ultimately decide his fate.
