The New England Patriots debut of Brandon Browner will take place during Thursday’s Week 7 contest against the New York Jets.
It is unclear if Browner will appear opposite of Darrelle Revis. More likely Browner will be on a snap count.
“I was able to stay here during the terms of my suspension — it wasn’t PED, it was substance abuse — so I was able to stay here for the meetings, work out, do everything except practicing and play,” Browner said via ESPN Boston. “So I have been a part of this [team] this whole time.”
Browner has not played since Week 10 a year ago. He was activated last week but did not play as he was dealing with an ankle injury. Browner says he is past that injury now.
