A healthy and improved offensive line has proven to key to the Dallas Cowboys getting off to a 5-1 start.

While Doug Free is hopeful of playing on Sunday there is a chance that the starting right tackle could miss three to four weeks with a strained foot reports the Fort Worth Star Telegram.

“I think he’s OK,” Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Monday. “He’s dealing with that injury, and we’ll see what it is here over the next few days.”

Free has made 77 straight starts for the Cowboys, a streak that is no in jeopardy. Prior to their bye week the Cowboys have four games left.

The Cowboys would turn to Jermey Parnell at right tackle if Free is forced to miss time. Parnell entered Sunday’s game when Free went down with 3:23 left in the fourth quarter. Parnell would clear a hole for Murray to score a 15-yard touchdown on the following play.
