Victor Cruz suffers torn patella tendon against Eagles

The New York Giants have lost star wide receiver Victor Cruz for the season.

Cruz suffered a torn patella tendon in Sunday nights game against the Philadelphia Eagles. After dropping a two-yard touchdown pass Cruz had to be carted off the field.

Prior to leaving the Week 6 contest Cruz had two catches for 16 yards. He will finish the season with 23 catches for 337 yards and a touchdown.

The loss of Cruz leaves the GIants with Odell Beckham and Rueben Randle, with Preston Parker playing in three-wide sets.
