After placing Montell Owens on injured reserve with a hamstring injury, the Detroit Lions worked out a pair of running backs on Tuesday.
Tashard Choice and Alex Green both got a look from the Lions as the team scours the free agent mark for fall back options down the road.
Choice, 29, has appeared in 88 career games, including three last season with the Indianapolis Colts. He owns a 4.2 career average on 372 attempts for a total of 1,579 yards and 10 touchdowns though the bulk of that was done during his first three years in the league from 2008-2010 when he was a member of the Dallas Cowboys.
Wide receivers Damian Williams and Ramses Barden also got workouts with the team.
