The timetable for BEasons return places him questionable for Week 1 but the good news is that he should miss very little of the regular season.
Signed to a new three-year deal worth $16.8 million in March he will be replaced by rookie Devon Kennard for the time being.
Beason was pare of 104 tackles for the Giants last season and also picked off an interception. The five seasons in which Beason has played a full season he has racked up 100 or more tackles.
