Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Dan Marino to play in Candlestick finale

San Francisco 49ers legend Joe Montana will return to Candlesick Park for one last game.

The NFL Hall of Famer who won four Super Bowl rings with the 49ers will play in a flag football game to close out Candlestick Park. Other NFL greats to play in the game will include his go to wide receiver Jerry Rice as well as Roger Craig, Dwight Clark and Dan Marino among others.

According to the 49ers official website the game will take place on July 12 with tickets to go on sale May 10.

In super Bowl XIX it was Montana and the 49ers defeating Marino and the Dolphins.

About a month after the game Paul McCartney will close down the place with its last concert some 48 years after the Beatles performed their last concert there in 1966.
