The Miami Dolphins have signed free agent running back Knowshon Moreno.
Moreno will earn around $3 million on the one-year deal with the Dolphins according to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport.

While the Denver Broncos were said to have interest in re-signing Moreno it is safe to assume that they were not willing to offer the same amount of money as the Dolphins.
Moreno could open the season at the Dolphins lead back expecting him to replicate his 1,039 yards rushing on 242 carries with 10 touchdowns may be asking too much. Additional Moreno caught 60 passes for 548 yards with three receiving touchdowns.
The quarterback situation in Miami is not nearly to the level of Peyton Manning.
