Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Adam Gase is the latest candidate to remove himself from the Cleveland Browns coach search.
Gase is in his first year as the offensive coordinator of the Denver Broncos and while the Browns have kept him on their list of candidates he never seemed interested in the position.

There are plenty of reasons that candidates have removed themselves from the Browns coaching search.
Rob Chudzinski was let go after one season. Both offensive coordinator Norv Turner and defensive coordinator Ray Horton have also left the team. There is no franchise quarterback or running back on the roster. Throw in concerns about the Browns front office and it figures to be a difficult situation for any first-year coach to fall into.

The Browns figure to focus on Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn or Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine.
