Nick Hardwick, the center of the San Diego Chargers, is reportedly considering retirement.
Hardwick, 32, remains one of the better centers in the NFL and has one year left on his contract with the Chargers worth $3.4 million but the veteran told the San Diego Union Tribune that he had a tough decision to make.
“The older you get, the more you know that every game is valuable and every game could be your last,” Hardwick said. “You realize how special each one of the games are and how awesome of an opportunity it is. You just learn to enjoy it more, relax and enjoy the moment.”
Hardwick is married with two children.
