Packers to give out hot chocolate, coffee and hand warmers for playoff game

With a temperate of -2 at kickoff it’s safe to say that it will be cold at Lambeau Field when the Green Bay Packers host the San Francisco 49ers Sunday afternoon.

So cold that the Packers will be giving stuff away to fans.

The Packers plan to pass out 70,000 hand warmers along with hot chocolate and coffee.

It will also be cold in Philadelphia for Saturday nights game between the Eagles and New Orleans Saints. That game figures to be played with temperates in the 20s. On Friday the Eagles removed nearly three million pounds of snow from their stadium. Nearly 600 people were called in to help in those efforts.
