Geno Smith will continue to be the New York Jets starting quarterback.
Since being a second round pick by the Jets, Smith has been a turnover machine and was benched as recently as Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Rather then make the move to veteran David Garrard the Jets will give Smith another chance.
Smith has completed 54.7 percent of his passes for 2,256 yards, eight touchdowns, 19 interceptions and seven fumbles.
