Ahmad Brooks sacked Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III twice in Monday night’s win. After the game the San Francisco 49ers linebacker questioned the Redskins playing of Griffin.

“He’s obviously a man and he makes his own decisions, but I personally don’t feel he should be playing right now,” Brooks said, via CSN Washington.

Brooks does not feel that Griffin is the same player after suffering a knee injury in the playoffs last season.

“I don’t think he should be playing,” he said again. “You can see it. Everybody can see it, everybody can see it.”

Against the Niners, Griffin completed 17 of 27 passes for 127 yards and an interception. The 49ers defense got constant pressure to Griffin.

“He’s a man, he has the heart of a warrior and is going to go out there and play regardless of the circumstance,” Brooks said of Griffin. “Everybody can see it. Everybody can see it. He shouldn’t be playing.”

With the loss the Redskins fell to 3-8 on the season.
