An MRI on Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning came back with encouraging news that there was “no new damage” to his existing high ankle sprain.
There was cause for concern after Manning told reporters that he would undergo an MRI following the Broncos 28-20 win over the San Diego Chargers in Week 10.

The news is encouraging for the 37-year-old Manning after he was battered by the Chargers on Sunday. Things will not get any easier when the Broncos face Kansas City next week. The Chiefs lead the NFL with 36 sacks.
