The Atlanta Falcons have ruled running back Steven Jackson out for Week 5’s game against the New York Jets.
Jackson, 30, will be missing his third consecutive game. The Falcons have a Week 6 bye and Jackson is expected to be able to play following the bye.
The Falcons did not have Jackson practice this week. Jacquizz Rodgers will tote the ball again this week. Thus far Rodgers has run 38 times for 134 yards.
