Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker could miss 4-8 weeks after suffering a right hip injury. Locker was carted off the field in the third quarter of Tennessee’s Week 4 game against the Jets.

Locker was hit by Muhammad Wilkerson with a little more than 10:00 left in the third quarter. Locker fell to the ground and FB Collin Mooney appeared to step on Locker’s foot, jarring Locker’s hip. Trainers came out immediately, Locker could barely move. He was strapped to a board and taken off the field.

Locker was taken to the hospital and underwent an MRI. The Titans are still awaiting more testing before releasing an official timetable on his return. Locker remains in the hospital as of Monday morning.

Locker completed 18-of-24 passes for 149 yards and three touchdowns before leaving the game. The Titans will turn to noodle-armed ex-Bill Ryan Fitzpatrick for the time being.

The Titans won Sunday’s game over the New York Jets 38-13.
