Until last week Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice had made 43 consecutive starts, most in the NFL.
Rice’s status is very much a question again this week even after practicing this week. The star running back has described himself as a game-time decision while head coach John Harbaugh has not shed any additional details on the Ravens plans.
“We stand by the fact that we’re hoping he’ll get there, he’s got a better chance than he had last week,” Harbaugh said. “We’ll know on Sunday. We’ve got our fingers crossed.”
If unable to go, Bernard Pierce would start in Rice’s place.
