While Manuel has had knee concerns for the past two weeks he had always seemed to be the logical starter. The Bill believe Manuel’s knee is good to go for Sunday.
Jeff Tuel, an undrafted rookie, will back up Manuel.
The Patriots defense figures to be a-lot to take it for Manuel who was 26-for-33 for 199 yards and two touchdowns during preseason play. Buffalo may have to opt for a run heavy attack even if they find themselves in a large hole early.
