Tom Brady is day to day after an MRI on the quarterback of the New England Patriots came back negative.
Brady is dealing with a minor sprain which could keep him out of Friday’s preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The real news here is that Brady is fine and should be able to play in the Patriots third preseason game.
Patriots will re-examine Tom Brady in the morning, but one source said the quarterback is likely to practice Thursday.

Left tackle Nate Smith was pushed into Brady during a joint practice against Tampa on Wednesday. The incident came following a incompletion down the sidelines midway though the practice session.
Brady rocked and then held his knee. Brady briefly returned to the field before leaving practice.
