The Colin Kaepnerick hat wear saga has come to an end. Finally San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh has given his thoughts on the matter.
“I know Kaep, and I know where his allegiances lie,” Harbaugh said. “They lie with us, and I chalk that up to a slow time in the media cycle. I know Kaep very well and know exactly where his allegiances are.”
“I know him. I know how he prepares. I know where his allegiances lie.”
Kaepernick was photographed in a Miami Dolphins hat on July 4th and then refused to issue an apology for wearing another teams gear.
The issue should die down now that training camps are beginning. Of course linebacker NaVorro Bowman, who called the hat choice “a huge mistake,” may want to have a little fun with the third year quarterback.
