Stevan Ridley runs into Benard Pollard and is knocked out

Trailing in the fourth quarter the New England Patriots were hoping to pull off another postseason march down the field. That ended Sunday when running back Stevan Ridley ran into Baltimore Ravens safety Benard Pollard. The result was a fumble and a Ravens recover which extended their lead.

Pollard has already been blamed for the play but, after watching the video again it is clear that that Ridley lowered his head and shoulder to meet Pollard.

Either way it will not go over well in New England. Pollard is infamous for knocking out Patriots quarterback Tom Brady in Week 1 of the 2008 season.
