Brandon Weeden and Colt McCoy both have right shoulder injuries but Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur did not rule either out for Sunday’s season finale against Pittsburgh. Rookie running back Trent Richardson has not been ruled out either.

Thad Lewis took first-team snaps in practice for the Browns on Wednesday and Josh Johnson has been signed as insurance.

”The injuries to Brandon and Trent are not as serious as you might have thought,” Shumur said. ”We’ll see how they come back. If they are healthy, they will play. If they can’t, I have no problem ruling them out.”

The 25-year-old Lewis is familiar with Shurmur. He was on St. Louis’ practice squad when Shurmur served as an assistant there in 2010. He has yet to take a regular-season snap.

McCoy was hurt sometime after replacing Weeden in the second half against the Broncos.

Cleveland will be looking for their first sweep of Pittsburgh in a season since 1988.
