Cardinals turn to Brian Hoyer after Ryan Lindley struggles again

The carousel of quarterbacks in Arizona continues. Brian Hoyer is the latest to get some time under center. Hoyer was claimed off of waivers from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Dec. 10.

Lindley proved to be ineffective again. Against the Bears he was 17-of-30 for 141 yards and his seventh interception. The interception was returned for a touchdown by Peanut Tillman.

With Lindley being pulled, John Skelton being equally awful and Kevin Kolb being out for the year, expect Hoyer to start next week.

The best player on the Cardinals may be punter Dave Zastudil who set a NFL record for punts inside the 20. He also topped topped 100 punts on the season in Sunday’s game.
