Robert Griffin III will return for the Redskins, not that they had any problem defeating Cleveland with backup Kirk Cousins. Running back Alfred Morris has blossomed into a force in the backfield as the Redskins have found themselves in a three-way tie atop the NFC East with New York and Dallas.
The Eagles are a mess with head coach Andy Reid expected to be fired at seasons end. On the bright side LeSean McCoy (concussion) will return and split time with Bryce Brown in the backfield. Michael Vick, who also suffered a concussion, will be available as the teams backup to Nick Foles. Foles appeared to take a step forward in a win two weeks ago but fell flat against last week. Defensively the Eagles have not attempted to stop anyone since the opening month of the season.
Washington defeated Philadelphia 31-6 in their match-up on Nov. 18 at FedEx Field.
