Brent Celek leaves game with concussion

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek left Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a concussion.

On the first drive of the game Celek was hit by Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte Davis. He was then taken to the locker room for evaluation. Shortly thereafter it was announced he was out for the remainder of the game with a concussion.

Celek is not the first or most notable Eagles player to be sidelined with a concussion. Quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy have both missed multiple weeks while dealing with a concussion.
