Dallas fell behind early to Cleveland and then needed a late field goal to force overtime last week. They did win moving themselves to 5-5 but if Dallas is to make the playoffs this game is a must win. The offense is one dimensional and will rely heavily on quarterback Tony Romo and a cast of Cowboy receivers which statistically favors well in this match-up as the Redskins have not proven they can stop anyone though the air.
It was not long ago that Mike Shanahan made comments suggesting that the Redskins needed to start looking at next season. Soon after they blew the doors off of Philadelphia to the tune of 31-6. Though that game came against a rookie quarterback who was playing on the road. The stock of Robert Griffin III could not be higher going into this game and Dallas is quite banged up with linebacker Sean Lee out for the season and Jay Ratcliff questionable.
We strongly like Dallas to win this game. The Redskins can keep this game close in the first half but if Dallas capitalizes on the mistakes of Griffin then this one will get away from Washington in a hurry.
