Chad Henne has been promoted to the role of Jacksonville Jaguars starting quarterback for the upcoming game against the Tennessee Titals.
Henne replaced an injured Blain Gabbert (eblow) and kept Jacksonville in the game against Houston on Sunday. The Jaguars ultimately lost 43-37 in overtime.
In the contest, Henne went 16-of-33 passing for 354 yards and four touchdowns.
There had been calls from fans in recent weeks for Jacksonville to promote Henne to the starting role. He previously started for the Miami Dolphins.
