Hill was arraigned on misdemeanor charges of menacing and criminal mischief prior to his suspension.<\/p>\n<p>Hill was initially reported of being arrested last Friday on\u00a0charges of menacing and fourth-degree assault, according to <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.csnnw.com\/ducks\/oregon-ducks-defensive-back-troy-hill-arrested-assault\" target=\"_blank\">Comcast Sports Net<\/a>.<\/em> No other details were released by the team or the police.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2086\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2086\" style=\"width: 167px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2086 \" alt=\"Troy-Anthony-Hill-12-13-fel-str-fel-ass4-men-167x200\" src=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/ncaafb\/files\/2013\/12\/Troy-Anthony-Hill-12-13-fel-str-fel-ass4-men-167x200.jpg\" width=\"167\" height=\"200\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2086\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo Via Lake County Jail<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Helfrich released a statement through a spokesperson:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;We are aware of the incident and charges involving Troy Hill and he is\u00a0suspended indefinitely from all football-related activities. We expect every member of our\u00a0program to hold themselves to a high standard of conduct and to\u00a0represent this University with class, pride and integrity. \u00a0We\u00a0will wait until the legal process has concluded before making\u00a0any final determination of Troy Hill\u2019s status.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Hill played in 11 games for the Ducks this season, totaling 21 tackles.\u00a0No. 10 Oregon (10-2) returned to the practice field on Saturday to begin preparing for the Dec. 30 Alamo Bowl against Texas (8-4).<\/p>\n<p>Hill\u2019s next court appearance is set for Jan. 21.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oregon Ducks corner back\u00a0Troy Hill has been suspended from all team and football activities by head coach Mark Helfrich.
