In a tight game between Ole Miss and Auburn, wide receiver Laquon Treadwell was headed from the endzone when he was tackled from behind.
Treadwell approached the goalline when he was hit with the football coming out. Auburn defender Cassanova McKinzy quickly fell on the ball which left in question if the play was a touchdown.

Upon review it was ruled that Treadwell fumbled the football resulting in a touchback giving Auburn the ball. The Tigers were unable to run out the clock giving Ole Miss another chance. The Rebels were unable to do anything with Bo Wallace’s final pass resulting in an incompletion.
As for Treadwell, he was helped onto a cart and taken off the field. Auburn was able to run the clock out and claim the win.
If the score holds up, Ole Miss will have suffered back to back losses as a week ago they lost to LSU. With two losses on the season Ole Miss should be out of the playoff hunt all together.
