Teddy Bridgewater will not throw at NFL combine

Teddy Bridgewater will not throw at the NFL combine on Sunday. League sources have said that the Louisville quarterback will join Derek Carr and Johnny Manziel in waiting to throw at their Pro Days.

One quarterback still scheduled to throw is UCF’s Blake Bortles.

It’s becoming common for the top quarterbacks in the draft to avoid throwing at the NFL combine. Quarterbacks are afraid of being lumped together with unfamiliar receivers and then having their draft stock drop.

All three quarterbacks are expected to be drafted sometime in the first round.
