There are multiple reports out saying that Louisville head coach Charlie Strong has accepted a deal to become the new head coach at the University of Texas.
Strong would succeed Mack Brown as the head coach of the Longhorns. Chip Brown of Orangebloods suggests Texas made an offer and it is expected to be accepted.
CNNSI is reporting:
A high-ranking Texas official said Strong agreed to a five-year contract worth about $5 million per season.
Friday started out rough for Texas with both Art Briles of Baylor and Jim Mora of UCLA saying they were not interested in the position.
