It’s unusual weather in Dallas and thus fans have stayed away from Saturday’s game between the SMU Mustangs and the UCF Knights.
UCF is looking to win over SMU to a BCS bowl but fans are simply not in attendance even with a decision to let them in for free.
So what did the stadium staff at SMU do? They displayed vide of a fireplace on their scoreboard.

Now that’s great. With some considering Blake Bortles the No. 1 QB in the draft it will be interesting to see how the UCF signal caller handles the cold.
