The Chicago Blackhawks have a 3-2 lead in the NHL Stanely Cup Finals and for the Boston Bruins news got worse as center Patrice Bergeron was taken to a Chicago area hospital during Game 5.
Bergeron was skating gingerly before leaving the game. The Bruins tweeted that “Patrice Bergeron has been taken to a local hospital in Chicago for observation.”
Bergeron has nine goals and six assists this postseason. Game 6 of the series is set for Monday.
