Denard Robinson is working hard in preparation for the NFL Draft. The former Michigan quarterback is also working hard to finish his degree.
“I’m graduating on May 4,” Robinson told YahooSports.
With five classes left this semester, Robinson is working towards a degree in sociology.
Traditionally college athletes who have an eye for the NFL have dropped out of school in their final semester and hired coaches to ready them for the draft. That is not the case for Robinson who said he was working towards his degree because his family wanted to see him graduate.
Robinson’s draft stock is all over the map. He could be as high as a second round pick or fall to the fourth. He is seen as an interesting wide receiver option and hopefully his commitment to finishing his academics is considered a plus by pro scouts instead of a draw back.
