The Famous Idaho Potato Bowl features a match-up between the Toledo Rockets and the No. 22 ranked Utah State Aggies. Scheduled for a 4:20 pm EST kickoff on Saturday, the game will take place in Bronco Stadium in Boise, ID.

So what is the spread in the Toledo and Utah State game? Utah State is a 10.5 point favorite against Toledo. The over/under for this game is set at 58.5 points.

Saturday’s match-up between Toledo (9-3) and Utah State (10-2) may not be a featured game but it does mark the start of bowl season. It will also mark the first time the two teams have faced each other.

Utah State will hope its defense continues to play at a top level. This season they are allowing 15.4 points per game.

On offense the Aggies will look to utilize Kerwynn Williams who averaged 7.6 yards per carry leading the WAC with 1,277 yards. The passing game is ran by Chuckie Keeton who can use his leg as well as his arm. He racked up 3,144 yards and 27 touchdowns though the air this season.

Toledo quarterback Terrance Owens completed 209 of 333 passes  for 2,677 yards with 14 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. He also ran for 385 yards and 5 touchdowns. Owens missed the season finale against Akron while dealing with an ankle injury. He was replaced by Austin Dantin who was quite effective completing 29-of-35 passes for 325 yards and five touchdowns.

The Rockets give up a bunch of yards (464.1 ypg) but for much of the season were able to keep their opponents from scoring large sums of points thanks in part to a defense which forces a bunch of turnovers. That unit is led by Dan Molls who led the nation with 166 tackles including 18 in his last game.

Will Utah State win in their return to Boise or will Toledo upset them?
