Maryland to wear state patterned uniforms with matching shoes

The University of Maryland is trying to make ripple in the college football world. I suppose the school has realized there are two things that get noticed, winning and wearing ugly uniforms.

So enter the return of the “Maryland Pride” uniforms that left many scratching their heads last September. This years “Maryland Pride” uniform is a little different than last years. This years uniform is primarily black in color while last years was white.

NBC4 Washington reports that in addition to the Terrapins’ colorful flag uniforms they will wear special flag shoes.

Yep. Further proof that a great pair of shoes can make any outfit worth wearing. Too bad for Maryland these are not those shoes.
