The Indiana Pacers are off to a franchise best 7-0 start as they compete with the Memphis Grizzlies (3-3) on their home floor.

“I really don’t get too caught up in the historical value of it, other than we’re ahead of the race,” Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. “We’re trying to get the (No.) 1 seed to put ourselves in the position come playoff time with the best chance to come out of the East.”

Paul George the scoring machine on the Pacers squad is looking to pursue the opportunity of being the NBA MVP at the season end. George is averaging just over twenty five points per game which leads the NBA in the new born season.

“We’re just going out, playing the game,” George said. “Everybody is dialed in. We’re not worried about keeping the streak alive, we’re just worried about going out there and playing our hardest and winning a ballgame.”

Mike Conley has been very impressive for the Grizzles despite their .500 record. The duo of Randolph and Conley haven’t been impressive on the road this season with three losses but they’re looking to turn that around tonight.

Coverage of the Memphis Grizzlies vs. Indiana Pacers kicks off at 7:00 PM EST on NBA League Pass.

Predicted Score: Pacers 94 vs. Grizzlies 88

Odds: The Pacers no doubt have been impressive, but they’ll definitely be tested by the Grizzlies tonight. The key for the Pacers to steal a 8-0 start is to simply keep Memphis out of the paint, The Grizzlies on the other hand will have to keep Paul George under twenty points to remain with a chance to hand the Pacers their first loss on the year. The Pacers are 6.5 point favorites as of Monday afternoon.
