J.R. Smith is back in the lineup for the New York Knicks as they take on one of last year’s NBA Championship finalists, the San Antonio Spurs. Smith is returning after a five-game drug suspension and will come off the bench according to Knicks coach Mike Woodson.

“It’s going to be a big game.” Knicks coach Mike Woodson said Smith probably won’t play more than 30 minutes. ”He might be the first guy off [the bench],” Woodson said. “A lot of times it’s based on my personnel, my rotations. He’ll be one of the first ones off the bench.”

Woodson also stated that Kenyon Martin and Amar’e Stoudemire will come off the bench in place of the injured Tyson Chandler.

The Knicks will start their lineup of Raymond Felton, Pablo Prigioni, Iman Shumpert, Carmelo Anthony and Andrea Bargnani. The Spurs will start Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green, Tim Duncan and Tiago Splitter. Matt Bonner (Center) is out for the Spurs with left calf tightness.

Predicted Score: Knicks 95 vs. Spurs 98

Will Carmelo Anthony and Andrea Bargnani be able to hold off Tony Parker and Tim Duncan’s Spurs? Find out at 12:00 PM EST on NBA League Pass.
