Twice the combination has found victory lane on road courses.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday the team confirmed rumors on SiriusXM Radio that they were parting ways with the Colombian driver.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We did not renew the contract for next year,&#8221; part owner Felix Sabates told the channel. &#8220;It was a difficult decision. He understands. You have to move on in life sometimes. It\u0019s frustrating for everybody when you know you\u0019ve got good equipment and you can\u0019t seem to put everything together still.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Primary sponsor Target will sponsor the No. 42 car next season and there are several other drivers who will be free agents at seasons end, most notably Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman. Another option is developmental driver Kyle Larson.
