The wreck left 19 year old Alysha Ruggles hospitalized with a back injury. According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.democratandchronicle.com\/article\/20130716\/SPORTS\/307150069\/Tony-Stewart-Canandagia-racing?nclick_check=1\" target=\"_blank\">Democrat &amp; Chronicle<\/a> Ruggles car went airborne after it hit the wheels of another car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs of now, she is at Strong Memorial Hospital with a back injury,\u201d the track stated on its page. \u201cShe is going to be put in a back brace and, as of right now, doctors are evaluating whether further steps need to be taken.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/hFuxfIDZFrU\" height=\"315\" width=\"560\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Stewart took blame for the accident, saying he tried to force the issue putting the car somewhere it didn&#8217;t belong.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have never seen anything this bad in a sprint car race, I don&#8217;t think, or this many cars being taken out in one wreck,&#8221; said sprint car driver Mike Stelter.<\/p>\n<p>The wreck comes just a little month after <a title=\"NASCAR driver Jason Leffler dies after wreck at short track\" href=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/nascar\/2013\/06\/12\/nascar-driver-jason-leffler-dies-after-wreck-at-short-track\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jason Leffler was killed <\/a>in a Sprint Car accident at Bridgeport Speedway.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tony Stewart was involved in a massive Sprint Car wreck on Tuesday evening at Canandaigua Motorsports Park in New York.
