Kyle Busch continued the dominance of Joe Gibbs Racing at Auto Club Speedway on Saturday. Busch sat on the pole and claimed the ninth straight win for JGR at the Fontana, California track.<\/p>\n

Sam Hornish Jr. entered the day leading the Nationwide Series point standings and extended that lead with a second place finish ahead of Regan Smith. Parker Kligerman, who opted to stay out on worn tires late in the race, finished fpurth.<\/p>\n

Busch’s win in the Royal Purple 300 was his third of the season in the Nationwide Series. Previously Busch had won at Phoenix and Bristol.<\/p>\n

The 1.5 mile track provided multiple lanes for drivers and was highlighted by a battle between Busch and Sam Hornish Jr. for team lead.<\/p>\n
