\"\"Charles Lessman and Brent Morel both figure to be cut from the roster on Tuesday or Wednesday. It wasn’t that either had a chance they were just showcasing themselves for later this season.<\/p>\n

Morel has done everything right and manager Ozzie Guillen has went as far to say he reminded him of a younger Joe Crede with a little less power.\u00a0 If he can hit like Crede did doing his 05-06 run then the White Sox are fine.<\/p>\n

Leesman has been toiling with his grip on the baseball and has upped his velocity from 94 to 96 mph. He put together a fine season at Kannapolis last year going 13-5 with a 3.08 ERA and a 1.41 WHIP in 167.2 innings. His strike out to walk ratio isn’t the best but at 6’4″ and just 23 years of age there is still time left in the minors to refine that for the 2008 draft pick.<\/p>\n

With the White Sox having just Daniel Hudson as a fall back there is room for Leesman to earn a spot start or two later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
