\"Cincinnati<\/a>The Kansas City Royals may have to add Brad Thompson to their roster. Thompson is about the only pitcher wearing a blue hat that says KC that has actually recorded outs this spring.<\/p>\n

With a spot or two up for grabs in the pen and a rotation that has fallen on it’s face this spring the versatility of Thompson may gain him a gig with the Royals.<\/p>\n

Thompson, a veteran of five seasons all of which came with St. Louis, is far better as a relief option then a starting pitcher but being able to give the Royals innings may be the biggest key.<\/p>\n

There are trade rumors swirling around Juan Cruz and Kyle Farnswo<\/a><\/p>\n

rth this spring but there doesn’t appear to be a ton of teams who could take on that type of money.<\/p>\n
