Edwards led a race high 122 laps snapping a 70 race win less streak.While Edwards went to victory lane another went on the attack.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The leader&#8217;s not supposed to slow down before he takes off &amp; he did that twice.&#8221; commented second place finisher Jimmie Johnson.<\/p>\n<p>Johnson believes that Edwards slowed the field down as they approached the green flag on the final restart.<\/p>\n<p>There was no penalty by NASCAR for the restart which suggests that there was no concerns by officials.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carl Edwards won the Subway Fresh Fit 500 on Sunday.
