He started there in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan was in charge of\u00a0an incredible amount of tasks at the shop and at the racetrack. He handled decals, assembly, loading the hauler, parts, and was the gas man for the No.81 on raceday.<\/p>\n<p>On August 22, Hess was found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 19 (violation of the NASCAR substance abuse policy) of the 2012 NASCAR Rule Book.<\/p>\n<p>Aaron Fike had violated NASCAR&#8217;s substance abuse policy but was recently reinstated by NASCAR after following through with their Road to Recovery Program.<a title=\"Aaron Fike, Suspended for heroin, Reinstated by NASCAR\" href=\"http:\/\/tireball.com\/2012\/08\/21\/aaron-fike-suspeneded-for-heroin-reinstated-by-nascar\/\"> (Read about Aaron Fike here)<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Previous driver of the No.22 Shell\/Pennzoil Dodge, A.J Allmendinger also violated NASCAR&#8217;s substance abuse policy earlier this Summer, he is currently partaking in NASCAR Road to Recovery.<\/p>\n<p>No news on what Hess&#8217; plans are going forward with NASCAR at this time.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ryan Hess, crew member for the No. 81 of Jason Bowels was suspended indefinitely today for violating NASCAR&#8217;s substance abuse policy.
