The annual trip to Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the famed Brickyard takes place the first weekend in September this year for both the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the Xfinity Series. On track activity starts on Friday with racing taking place Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
Kissing bricks and drinking milk has been a tradition at this 2.5 mile track for almost three decades but this year the race includes the intrigue of securing a playoff spot for the Cup Series as this is their final race before the playoffs.<\/p>\n
