Cole Custer has been awarded the win in Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway.<\/p>\n

Denny Hamlin initially was declared the winner of the Sport Clips Haircuts VFW 200 but NASCAR later ruled that Hamlin’s No. 18 car did not meet the minimum requirement from left-front height.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s crazy. It\u2019s a way to win it. It\u2019s a \u201cstrange\u201d way to win it,\u201d Custer told\u00a0NASCAR.com\u00a0in the Xfinity Series garage after news of the disqualification seeped out. \u201cI wish I would\u2019ve been able to pass him. Him being low isn\u2019t why he won that race. At the same time, that\u2019s the rules we live by and everybody has the same deal. Everybody\u2019s been bit by it at some point, so it\u2019s cool. We get to have some more playoff points and this is the momentum that we needed.\u201d<\/p>\n
