Other notable drivers of  the US Army car include Joe Nemechek and Mark Martin.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan Newman; a 2002 rookie in 18 races this year, has 4 top tens, 3  top fives and one win. His win came at Martinsville on April 1, 2012.\u00a0  His contract is up at the end of 2012 with Stewart Haas Racing.<\/p>\n<p>It is speculated that he could drive a Dodge next season if he does  not re-sign with Stewart Haas Racing . Although it doesn&#8217;t seem likely,  he could also rejoin Penske Racing.<\/p>\n<p>He currently sits -178 points behind the points leader and is  trailing Kyle Busch and Joey Logano for a Wild Car spot for the NASCAR  Sprint Cup Chase.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>U.S Army announced today that they will not be sponsoring the car in 2013 and will be pulling out of NASCAR.
