Seven-time Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson’s search for a replacement for the departing sponsorship of Lowe’s has ended. Hendrick Motorsports announced on Sunday that Ally Financial would sponsor Johnson’s No. 48 car for 2019 and beyond.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe opportunity to work with a partner like Ally is incredible,\u201d Johnson said in a team release. \u201cTheir commitment to leading in both the workplace and the community is something that resonates with me in a big way. They\u2019ve sent a strong message about how much they believe in me and in our team, and I will do my part to make sure it\u2019s the best investment they\u2019ve ever made. I\u2019m ready to chase more history with Ally on board the 48.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ally signed on for a two-year deal with Johnson covering the entire 2019 and 2020 season.<\/p>\n
