Ah, it’s time for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race<\/strong> or as it may more simply be known as\u00a0The Bristol Night Race<\/strong>. It’s a night event at one of NASCAR’s most beloved tracks with just a few chances remaining in order for drivers to earn their way into the Chase – NASCAR’s version of a playoff.<\/p>\n On the pole is Erik Jones, he’s one of those drivers trying to find a way into the field of 16 for the start of the playoffs but he is not alone. In fact Kasey Kahne (3), Matt Kenseth (5), Joey Logano (8) and Clint Bowyer (9) are also starting inside the top 10 and without a win all are scrambling with one another for a playoff spot.<\/p>\n NBC has race coverage tonight with the official coverage starting at 7:30 ET.
